The Power of Socialization

Did you know that regular socialization can keep you healthier as you age? It’s true! Research has demonstrated that connection with peers can lead to positive health outcomes for older adults. So, the next time you make a new friend, you are actually decreasing your risk of cognitive decline, boosting your immune system, and even helping you live longer.

Join our Life Enrichment team as they talk more about the benefits of socialization and how to make it happen in your daily life. We’ll cover topics like:

  • Health dangers of isolation
  • Benefits of connecting with others

Meet the Expert: The Life Enrichment Team at Legend at Rivendell

One of the biggest benefits of living at Legend at Rivendell is the access to our outstanding Life Enrichment programs. Our team members work hard to create activities and events for our assisted living and memory care residents. It’s not unusual to see a team member passing out the popcorn for National Popcorn Day, leading an exercise group, or assisting residents as they get on the bus for an outing.
